Born July 10, 1806, in King Mui Village in the Sun Wui district of Kwang Tung province.
 

CHEONG HUNG SING (JEONG YIM)
Origionally a student of Chan Heung, who sent him to learn techniques from Monk Ching Cho. Upon returning to Kingmui, he co-collaborated techniques with Chan Heung which became Choy Lay Fut.
Founded the HUNG SING GWOON
Murdered at 33 years.

The legendary Champion Of The North & Founder of BUCK SING GWOON
Originally a teacher of HUNG KUEN & HUNG SING Kung Fu, Tam Sam founded a separate school in the North - BUCK SING GWOON - so that his intimidating reputation would not cause the HUNG SING name any disparagement.
Joined by fellow disciples of Lui Charn, Buck Sing Gwoon was to do further research on Choy Lay Fut, and establish the devastating "Fore-Knuckle Punch" (Len Whan Charp Choi), that would establish the distinction between Buck Sing (Northern) and Hung Sing (Southern) forever.
